Ms. Collings - Assistant Principal

Kristina Collings earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  She has been a member of Walnut Hill Elementary for sixteen years. During her time at WHE she has taught reading, math, science and social studies in the PreK, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 2^nd/3^rd mixed age grades. She also held the position of Campus Instructional Coach for three years.  In addition to teaching and coaching, Ms. Collings is the Campus Activity Coordinator, UIL Coordinator, co-coach of Lone Star Challenge and UIL academic teams, and member of Campus Instructional Leadership Team (CILT), Site Based Decision Making (SBDM), and Lighthouse.
